WILDCAT ATHLETICS

Athletics (and other extracurricular activities) are an important aspect of the Southwest Christian School experience. Shepherding the physical potential of our students is an integral part of our educational program. Participation in SCS athletics is far more than the simple pursuit of physical challenges and achievements. We use this vehicle to help students discover their true identity in Jesus Christ and to be made “mature and complete, not lacking anything” (James 1:4) as a result of these tangible opportunities.

Southwest Christian High School is a member of the OSAA at the 1A classification. We are a member of the Valley-10 conference for volleyball and basketball, Special District 6 for soccer, and Special District 1 for cross-country and track & field.

Southwest Christian Middle School is a member of the Metro Christian League (MCL) for grades 6, 7 and 8. We participate in cross-country, volleyball, and soccer in the fall; basketball in winter; and track & field in the spring.

Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 have the opportunity to participate in coed soccer and basketball with their classmates while representing the SCS Wildcats!
